@LadyDarkness Hahaha, I've done that mistake too. :)
Chuks (not the doll Chuck, "I want to play" - what a timing now around Halloween) ^^ No the DA site doesn't work for me yet. I've tried using the the following several times in Win XP. At start menu. 1. Run... 2. write: cmd 3. press enter a black window pops up, write: ipconfig /flushdns You should get a message saying that the DNS has been flushed/cleared.
I don't know if this works exactly the same in WinVista/Win7, but I think to need administrator rights.
If you don't want to try this you can go with the easier solution. You can still access the torrents at D-Addicts by adding: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/torrents.php
If you want, I can email the subs to you. Oh, but you usually wait till the series is completed, so you don't need them yet?
Haha, the scary doll, Chuck. Whenever I see people call me Chuck or Chuks, it reminds me of nunchucks and I feel like people think of me somebody like Bruce Lee.
Lady Darkness,
Yes, I'm aware of it and I'm fine. But don't forget to credit the editor, yenchan69 too. :)
Chuks - Thanks so much for subbing this - I wanted to give it a try so I can do that now :)
Keiko1981 - here's a way for you to get to d-addicts if you haven't yet... I am assuming you are using Windows XP or later:
edit the file c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts using windows notepad or a plain text editor (take a backup copy of the file before you edit in case of problems)
Add the following two lines at the bottom of the file: 89.149.244.109 www.d-addicts.com 89.149.244.109 static.d-addicts.com
Save the file.
You should now find you can access again. In a week or two when the problem resolves itself with d-addicts edit the file again and remove the two lines. This is so if they ever move d-addicts to a different machine your machine will pick up the change rather than using this temporary override.
If you feel uneasy doing any of that just wait until it fixes itself :) But I know I couldn't wait as I need my d-addicts :)
Saw the first episode without having any idea what the series was about, just figured you'll be subbing something good so I gave it a shot, and now I'm freakin hooked. Oh my gosh, the drama... the intrigue... I can just see the disaster-potential of this love affair from the very moment Nakamura and Suzuki were sizing each other up, feigning disinterest when they were really flirting and trying to get each other's attention. My poor old heart couldn't help but squeal with glee (wicked, I know) at this train-wrecky scenario.
Haha, I'm glad you like it. :) As you said, I like how they are sizing each other. It is a love story for grown-ups. I admire how NHK cast actors. Like Omori Minami on Hagetaka, Watabe Atsuro on Gaiji Keisatsu, ARATA on Chase, and Hasegawa Hiroki on this drama. I also like Fukada Kyoko on this. I'm not a big fan of her, but she does good when it comes to playing a ditsy girl.
Have to agree that it is something for grown-ups. The thought-process, the amount of calculation that goes into every conversation/encounter, it's definitely something that older, more mature audiences can relate to. I also agree with your observation about NHK's casting choices. I like how they shine the spotlight on these actors who normally would be stuck in supporting/minor roles in blah dramas. I mean, ARATA, Omori Nao and Watabe Atsuro are great actors but we just don't get to see them in a lot of dramas that would showcase their acting abilities, which makes me doubly glad that NHK allows them to work on quality material. :)
I'm not a big fan of Fukada Kyoko either but there are indeed some roles wherein she excels at and playing a ditz seems to be her forte. Normally, I get annoyed with her but for some reason, I don't mind seeing her in Second Virgin. It might be too early to tell but this role just might fit her to a tee.
Chuks, just to say I got around to trying this today and enjoyed it a lot - so thanks again for your wonderful subs! Can't wait for future episodes now :)
