omg, the timing couldn't been better! just finished 9 episodes (in two days!) and was going to watch the last episode raw, but decided to check the updates... thanks a lot Chuks and the team for the great subtitles for the great show!
Hey. :) I've been busy with my life, but I'm doing great! I'd like to resume fansubbing someday but it's hard to find a reliable editor and good drama. Speaking of good drama, I liked NHK's Hatsukoi.
I am Utahouck from the French fansub Kumo-no-Toile. I wanted to say a big thank you for your wonderful work translating Suzuki Sensei. We have taken it as a project to retranslate your subs in French, for the great pleasure of our French audience ! Having worked on more than half of the episodes, I really appreciated the great quality of your tranlsation.
Nonetheless, the story of Suzuki Sensei has not ended with episode 10. Since then, there was a special episode, and finally a movie was released in January 2013. I just bought the DVD: actually the movie has a second title "episode 11" and is in direct continuation of the drama.
At Kumo-no-Toile, we would like to has the full series translated. I have just started working on the special episode; but the film is definitely beyond by abilities in Japanese.
So here comes the big question: would you be interested to spend some time on Suzuki Sensei again to shout proudly "sukkari yatta!"? Many thanks again, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi. I've been meaning to watch the movie, but I haven't got a chance yet. I get a lot of requests to sub movie sequences, but I usually don't sub movies, as there are higher chances that they get subbed for commercial purposes.
Besides, I have too many projects on my plate right now and I don't think I will have time to sub the movie, at least for now. Hope you will find English subs sometime.
Thanks for your answer, Chucks, I understand, there are only 24 hours in a day.
We'll try to find another solution, but if you ever change your mind, let me know, we can arrange doing the timing while you would just focus on the translation properly speaking.
Anyway, thanks for all that you have already done on Suzuki Sensei.
