Thank you so very much for subbing this wonderful drama. I feel very lucky to have seen such a good drama. The acting, storyline, dialog, everything was really good. And your subs made it even better because they were great quality. Thank you to you and your team for all the hard work, it is much appreciated!!!

Thank you for subbing this drama. :) Very beautiful and moving story. I cried buckets of tears but still found the drama to be uplifting.

Finally got to log on to comment. Yey! Would you believe I went by almost a week without any internet connection? I was antsy half of the time. A friend of mine texted to say that D-Addicts was down for a while and I couldn't relate. LOL x)

Got around to watching Pure last week and I have to agree with bachnumber that it ended on a very positive and uplifting note. That's pretty much what I like about this series-- it's very simple, unpretentious and doesn't rely too much on gimmicks. Yes, it can be a bit cheesy but I liked how you get to understand all the characters and their motivations and that there's no cardboard villain in it.

Furthermore, Yuka and Toru's relationship was well-written and I find it amazing that you don't question the love between these two characters, you just kinda know it's there. I loved how it wasn't overly dramatic or blatantly spelled out and I liked how they were both a positive influence on each other. I kinda miss that in shows these days, especially when almost everything has to be extremely complicated and most of the time, a love story just ain't a love story.

Have to once again thank you and the wonderful people you worked with-- ZemusDS, Amrayu, Kanpai and Phoenix-- for sharing this drama with us. Really enjoyed watching Pure. :)

Zooey,

Wow, a week without internet connection? That sucks.

I agree with you. The drama was well-paced, beautifully written.
It's true that there were some cheesy part, but those scenes actually put a smile on my face. People were more pure back in days.
There are not many those heart-warming dramas anymore.
In that sense, I highly recommend Kita no kuni kara which I'm planning to sub.

Nah, I'm equally happy to litter your blog with comments.^^

Thanks for allowing me to ramble on incessantly. I also have to thank you for being so accommodating. There's not a lot of places wherein I can share/discuss my thoughts on dramas with a fellow enthusiast, so in a sense, your blog is a kind of drama haven as well.

You're right about the sheer lack of heartwarming dramas nowadays so I'll be sure to check out Kita no Kuni Kara. Will download the raws asap. :D

zooey,

I can say same thing to you. :)
It's nice to find somebody who shares similar values on dramas.

I'm glad you'll give it a try to Kita no kuni kara. :)
