Chuks - I just finished watching this and again admired your unerring taste in doramas -- いいセンスですよ！I especially enjoyed those moments in the subs where you translated the shift in Japanese to rough language by vulgarity in English, which does indeed get across the same feel. For the show itself, it offered that moral ambiguity often found in Japanese works, so unlike the manichean universe of US television. Deep as the lake indeed... So many, many thanks as always!
