Looking for Raw

I've been looking for a movie called Climbers High(Kuraimazu Hai).
The movie was made in 2008 and my favorite actors are in:Tsutsumi Shinichi, Sakai Masato,Ono Machiko, Endo Kenichi, Taguchi Tomorou, and Yamazaki Tsutomu.
I simply want to watch the movie, but I can't find the raw.
If any of you happen to know where I can find it, I'd appreciate it.

Hi, have you checked out
http://www.avistaz.com/torrents/japanese-movies

I found it there, a while back. And I checked just now, the torrent is still up.

Gotta say BIG thank you for your subs, very good stuff. First saw your Fumo Chitai work. One of the best doramas I've followed, just love the depth and accuracy of integration of historical events and such. It's something you almost never get with "western" tv-productions. Nowadays I moving towards just watching doramas and movies with Japanese subtitles. Makes for great training :) But keep up the great your, you're much appreciated!!

@Nick
THANK YOU!!!
I just started downloading.
That's a nice place to look for movies.
I'm pretty looking forward to watching it.
Have you ever watched it?

I'm glad you liked Fumo Chitai.
Yamazaki Toyoko (the author of the original novel) is known for those detailed research and that makes the drama interesting.
The new project I'm working on, Chase, the screenwriter also spent quite some time on researching for the drama, so it is quite interesting. I hope you'll give it a try when it's released. :)

Thank you for the link, again. :)

My pleasure.
No I haven't watched it yet, on my watch list though.

Actually just finished watching Mother just now (that's why I was double checking your blog). As I said I try to watch it in Japanese but going back referencing some stuff with you subs (awesome resource indeed!). I really like the "comments" stuff you're doing with Pure too.

At first I didn't really fall for the melodrama of Mother, but at the end it had me. I know how much I hate friends balling their eyes out at American series as Extreme Home Make Over and other (in my opinion) too cheezy shows. But there's something about the balance of seriousness and story telling that hits the mark with this kind of dorama. First time since "Kareinaru Ichizoku" or "Tokyo Tower" for me, great series!

I'm glad to hear you liked Mother too.
I was kinda hesitant to watch Mother like you at first. I never imagined the story turns out like that. I cried on Kareinaru Ichizoku, too. :)
Since I never heard of Tokyo Tower, I did quick search. Looks like they got special and renzoku.
Which one did you watch? I'm interested in special, since Tanaka Yuko of Mother and my favorite comedian, Oizumi Yo is on.
I started download off D-addict, but nobody is seeding, so not sure if I can ever get to watch it.

Extreme Home Make Over. lol I used to watch "Sell this house."
Do you watch American dramas? I live in US, so
I watch some American dramas, and I highly recommend Showtime drama, Dexter.

I've only watched the renzoku, which I really liked...

I normally find series to be a good format to tell these kinds of stories. One and only one season to develop characters and story arches and finally come to a conclusion and ultimately an end. Compared to a condensed version a film gives, which I think can be a bit contorted. As for a western produced series based on an original story or idea. If it has followers it AUTOMATICALLY gets renewed (even if a real idea or continuation didn't exist)... for example Heroes, GREAT first season. But from there just crash and burn!

Yeah, of course I watch a lot of American series to. My favorites are big budget well written mini series like From the Moon to the Earth, Band of Brothers, Into the West, John Adams and recently The Pacific. But I've followed Lost, Damages and to my surprise this year also Spartacus, actually really well produced though very nerdy in a way too. :)

That's the problem of American drama.
The first season of Prison Break was interesting, but I stopped watching after they kept dragging out the story.

I liked Band of Brothers, so I own the DVD.
Movie, The Hurt Locker reminded me of Band of Brothers.
I never watched most of the shows you mentioned besides Lost and Heroes. Maybe I'll check them out sometimes. :)

speaking of american dramas.. i havent finished any of them. takes years to finish them. a few i can recommend though for peeps intrested in USTV.. Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Mad Men, and Damages(because of Glenn Close). warning though, it really takes time to finish them but each episode is worth it.

@panda-zedo,
I haven't watched Kuraimazu Hai yet, but I watched
Monday, another Tsutsumi's movie with Matsuyuki Yasuko. That movie was mix of strange, funny, and eerie. I can't decide if I like that movie. lol

@jt
Out of dramas you mentioned, I only watched Sopranos. It was a while ago, but I remember it was funny. Sopranos has so many seasons!
I think American dramas tend to keep making sequences until the drama gets bad and people stop watching.

that's why im in to jdramas and sometimes kdramas because for sure im able to finish it. hehe.. sopranos has 86 episodes all in all. so far i have 5 episodes left. i've heard before that sopranos has a weird ending.

Haha, yes I remember this movie, it was really strange but interesting in some ways. I finally watched Kuraimazu Hai and enjoyed it. It has a slow path but the ending makes sense.

I also just finished bara no nai hanaya from the scenarist of mother. Not bad at all and it share similarities with Mother. Worth watching but it's definitely not on the level of mother...
I'm starting Chase tonight.

I still haven't had a chance to watch Kuraimazu Hai.
Bara no nai Hanaya was written by Nojima Shinji, not Sakamoto Yuji.
I hope you'll enjoy Chase. :)
